What is an “Everything Shower"?

It's more than just a standard shower; “Everything Showers" typically include a complete hair, face, and body regime that includes washing, conditioning, exfoliating, and thoroughly pampering yourself, resulting in a longer and more luxurious shower experience.

The concept of "Everything Showers" became popular through social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, where influencers shared their extensive shower routines as part of their self-care and beauty content. It has become a fast-growing trend that allows people to showcase their favourite products, tips, and routines, which can help you get a spa-feeling at in the comfort of your own home.

What do I do during an “Everything Shower"?

In an "Everything Shower", a variety of products are typically used to ensure comprehensive care for hair, skin, and nails. A common schedule could include:

Hair care- Deep scalp cleanse, shampoo/colour corrector, conditioning mask, leave-in treatment.

Body care- Body cleanse, exfoliating scrub (with or without brush or mitt), hair removal, feet and nail scrub, moisturising body milk/gel.

Face care- Facial Cleanser, lip scrub, gentle face exfoliator, and face masks for hydration, brightening, or anti-aging.

What do I do after an “Everything Shower"?

After shower care is just as important to ensure you look and feel your best.

Often after an “Everything Shower", the focus is on moisturising the hair and skin, while setting yourself up for further beauty treatments such as tanning, hair styling, and make-up application.

Hair oils and serums can be utilised to add further moisture to hair, while protecting it from heat styling tools. Styling products may also be added to give additional volume or hold prior to drying.

For the body, lotion can be used to hydrate and soften the skin before applying a body oil for added hydration. Our Dry Oil Perfume Mists can be added as well to provide a moisturising layer of fragrance to your routine before applying your layer of perfume oils. Don’t forget to apply a hand cream and even a cuticle oil to your nailbeds.

Face and lip care is an important post-shower step, and can include a large array of toners, serums, creams and moisturisers to protect, hydrate, and prep the skin for make-up application or protect from UV and other external factors.

How can I create my own “Everything Shower"?

There are no rules when it comes to “Everything Showers"- however we recommend you create a routine that allows you to feel luxurious, pampered, and calm. This can be easily achieved with your favourite bath products, a self-care music soundtrack, and your favourite fragrances or essential oils.
